I made 31 albums up until 2012 and then took a 12 year break. Until 2018 I was DJing but stopped that due to bad experiences at gigs. These days I tinker with Ableton Live and Traktor. I did do live gigs and DJing: Norwich, London, Goa. But I stopped that. I was almost completely shafted by venues. I can count the good experiences with a hand with two fingers. The absolute high point was DJing a 7 hour set at the Bamboo Forest in Goa.

Influences

Musicians like Gary Numan and Richard H Kirk were a sort of, “I’d like to do that too”. Both are solo musicians who produce all their own recordings. I always liked that my computer could make all the sounds needed to produce a tune. Not sure what setup Numan has but I do know that at one point Kirk was still running an Atari ST. In the very early days I was aware of Prince who was a “can play all the instruments” artist.
